Why Messen?

Messen Annual Community Event (ACE) is an annual gathering that offers a special, fun community and board game playing experience (with no vendors). As board gamers, we know play is a great way to connect with people. Over the five-day ACE, you’ll be able to meet other board gamers who love playing board games and meeting new people. Our hope is that you’ll meet people who become lifelong friends.

Messen ACE also offers one of the first places in the U.S. where you can play the latest games from Spiel, the big annual convention. We send a well-researched, enthusiastic team to Essen, Germany, each year to gather up the latest in hot games (aka your soon-to-be-favorite new games) and bring them back. If you love trying out the newest games and meeting other social board gamers, Messen ACE is the place to be.
